Malia's 4th Birthday

Malia was really excited to have her first Birthday party with friends. They got to make princess crowns and necklaces. Then they decorated their own cupcake, and then opened presents, everyone's favorite part. They all had a lot of fun, and Malia got way too many fun toys! A Belle head that you do her hair, 4 princess Barbies, diva dress up clothes, 2 princess polly pockets, lots of drawing and coloring books, pajamas, makeup, a game, and fingernail polish. Quite the little girl!

Gunner's Independence

So the picture almost explains it all. He is at that lovely stage where he can do things himself, and that includes taking off his pants. He thinks it is hilarious or something that he can run around half naked. When I ask him where they are, he knows exactly where, and will grab them and run so I can't put them back on him.

Halloween at the Zoo

Ian was gone all last week hunting, well camping because he actually did archery. We tried to do some different things to keep busy and not go crazy at home! The first day he was gone, the kids noticed out the window that his truck was out there, and got so excited and started screaming "Daddy, Daddy" It took me a while to get them to believe that he really wasn't home. Well the next day, they did it again! We really miss dad when he isn't home! Especially me!! I definately need breaks every once in a while to keep my sanity. Ian is good with this! Luckily it was really good weather so we went to the park quite a few times, played with some friends, and went to Fright lights at the Fairgrounds and went through the Haunted Barn. This day we went and did the Halloween Scavenger Hunt at the zoo. It was fun, and thank goodness the kids were great! Grandma Janelle went with us too. It was cute, all the little girls would say "Mom! Look it's Sleeping Beauty!" Gunner is a monkey but wouldn't keep his head piece on.

Malia's New Dress

Malia got a new dress from Grandma Bracken for her birthday, but I let her open it a little early so she could wear it to her Primary program. She said her part awesome! "We can live the Gospel Standards" A little bit loud and fast, but you could really understand what she said, and she wasn't timid at all! The practice paid off I guess.

Preschool Pumpkin Patch

I got to go with Malia and her preschool to the Peterson Farms Pumpkin patch. It was pouring rain half the time, but the kids didn't care. We got to go on a hay ride behind the tractor, pick some apples, green beans, and black berries. Then we picked out our pumpkin and fed the goats, llama, and geese.
Malia had fun with her new best friend Gracie.

Ward Fall Festival

These pictures are from our ward Fall Festival. I was asked to be in charge of decorations. It was supposed to be just a fall carnival and so we had to stay away from anything Halloween, which took some fun out of it, but I think it turned out okay. The kids had fun and enjoyed the balloon swords and playing with their friends.
