Halloween Party

We went to a Halloween Party at our friend's house this weekend. They have done this for over 5 years now and it is awesome! They definately go all out! We were actually able to go this year because Ian wasn't hunting.

They actually had a real life size operation game that they had made! It was awesome! They also had a Deadly cake walk (I won a cake!) Glow in the Dark Pictionary, and a few other games going on around the house.

And of course the food! Here are the eyeballs I made. You can find the recipe here.
They are definately not as good as the recipe picture, but they turned out okay, and were fun. They actually taste pretty good, for those who dared try one.

Here are a few pictures of our friends that were there.
Ben and Bethany

Jeff and Augusta (It was their party) She is 9 mos pregnant too!

Matthew and Bethany

Ben and Jessica

Matt and Rochelle

The costumes and decorations were great!

We had a really fun time!

Pumpkin Patch

I am a little behind with updating. We went to the Pumpkin patch last week. It was another nice day, a little chilly, again it wasn't raining!
We got to ride a boat out to the pumpkin patch.

Then we got to pick a pumpkin, (we just decided to buy ours at Winco--much cheaper!)

Then we watched the horse rides, and played in the hay maze.

Then we rode the train back.

Ian said why did we go to the pumpkin patch if we didn't even buy a pumpkin there? It was for the whole experience and we had fun!

Gunner's Favorite Things

Here are a few of Gunner's Favorite things right now.
Playing with his sister....
Most days they play so well together, that means Gunner plays whatever Malia is playing, which is usually dressup or Scooby Doo lately.
He has a new addiction to poptarts...

Everyday that Malia goes to preschool he expects one now. We had one together once, now he wants one all the time. As soon as Ian loads Malia up for school, he says "Daddy at work, Malia at preschool, me have poptart!"
The next thing I love that he loves...puzzles.

He is getting really good at them. He and Malia will be playing really loudly together, and then all of a sudden I won't hear anything, (mother's know that is usually a bad sign) I will go look for them and find him in her room doing a puzzle. When he is done I will hear "Da Da DaDa!"
He is growing so fast! And he is definately not my baby anymore, and lets me know everyday that he is a big boy! He is still really a Mama's boy though, and has to have Mom (not Dad) help him with everything, but I love that he still loves to cuddle with me and when he just comes up to me and says "Mama, I like you!"

Preschool Pumpkin Patch

I was able to go to the Pumpkin patch with Malia's preschool class last week. This is half her class and her best friend Graecey.

It was really cold, but atleast it wasn't raining! They got to go on a tractor trailer ride, and learned about how corn, apples, green beans, and of course pumpkins grow.

They also got to pick some blackberries.

They then got to go through the hay maze. That was Malia's favorite part.

She also really wanted a picture by the Geese.

They got to feed the goats. She liked that the tongues tickled her hands, but didn't like that they left her sticky!

And last they got to pick their own pumpkin!
