Pioneer Day

Our Stake did a Pioneer Fair. There was live entertainment, hot dogs, snow cones, cotton candy. The kids had fun each in their own way.
Malia demonstrated her mad donut eating skills. Cooper getting his first taste of cotton candy. And his second... Yum this is good!! (Notice the empty stick) Gunner was mesmerized by the water gun fights. So we let him stand in line for a long time to finally get his turn... Just to decide that he really didn't want to get wet, the first time he got shot.
Then we came home and played in the water. Crazy kids!

Utah Trip

We love visiting Enterprise so much that we keep traveling the 16 hours it takes to get there! Here are some (well a LOT) of the things we like to do.



There's always lots of swimming.

or torturing new little puppies.


Hanging out with Grandma
Going "arrowhead hunting" with Grandpa. I wonder why you had to be right around Grandpa to find any?

Hanging out at the Cabin.
With piles of dirt to play in.

Taking turns looking through the binoculars for elk or mustang.


Going hiking.

Where Gunner asked Grandpa if we were in THE middle of Nowhere.

Exploring in, on, and around old abandonded mines at State Line.




Doing a little cleaning while locked in the cabin.
Taking in the beautiful view after a 4-wheeler ride.

Getting as messy and dirty as we can!

Rides in the Rhino are always fun!

But it's lots more fun to go fast with Uncle Rand!

The best part is playing with cousins all day long!


We also got to go to Tuacahn and see Tarzan, one of my favorites that we have been too. The kids enjoyed it too, and were re-enacting later at Grandma's.


Then it was home again home again on the long drive! They are little troopers, and Malia and Gunner do very well now. We just can't wait for Cooper to get to that stage.
