Everytime I get the camera out I get two little cheesers chasing after me saying cheese, cheese until I take their picture.

Poor Gunner
Poor Gunner got stuck in the stroller a lot of the time while we were working in the front of the house. He is just too fascinated with cars in the street right now, except it is CAAWWSS!!! for him, and VROOM! VROOM! (I do it in capital letters and exclamation because that is how he says it)
But mom's slurpie kept him happy for a little while, and he did share a couple sips with me.

Work!
Our whole lives right now seem to be consumed with our house. That is all we do anymore! No fun! But as you can see we have got the big loads of debris gone from our house!! YEAH! It was quite the undertaking to move 5-50 ft tree limbs plus a lot of other trees and bushes from the back of our house to the front. Our front yard looked like a big burn pile for a few days until we got the trailor to haul it all away. But you can see the front of our house again! And no burn pile hazards in the back of our house too. I love this autumn time of year, but at this point I can't wait for it to get COLD so we don't have to work in the yard anymore!

Deck
The back deck of the house was really dry rotted, and we realized that underneath was a good pad of cement, so came the work of pulling it out. Ian did about half of it, and I actually finished the rest!

TIMBER!
On Sat. we cut down 5 big old cedar trees out of our backyard that had gotten some kind of fungus and died. They were about 50-60 ft. high. It was quite the ordeal! So fun to watch though. Ian is in one of the orange shirts, Grandpa Mark in the other with the hard hat, and our neighbor Steve Lewis is in the grey shirt. He is what made this all possible! They were professionals and none of them landed on the house! There was one close call with it landing on the fence, but they all did a good job! Our backyard looks so good and so different now. We are excited because this was one job we have been dreading in the list of things to do with this house!

Zoo
We went to the zoo the other day and took Malia's little friend Matthew, who she hasn't seen in awhile(he has a brand new little sister). He lived just down the street from us until we moved. They were the best of friends, and were very excited to see each other I think. They acted like they hadn't missed a beat. They had a lot of fun.

Gunner's Binkies
In the past few weeks Gunner has become VERY attached to his binkies which he calls bebes, and his blanket. When waking up from a nap he tries to perform the juggling act of taking all his binkies (anywhere from 5-7) and his blanket with him wherever he goes. Needless to say he gets a little frustrated when he can't keep a hold of them all. We should have taken them away before he got so attached, and Ian says there is no reason we should need 7 binkies anyway. But after only having 2 binkies the whole time with Malia, I was not going to spend my whole life searching for a binkie again!

Malia's new bike
We have been looking for a used bike for Malia for a little while, finally we just posted a wanted add on craigslist, and some guy gave this to us for free! Bonus! So much to Gunner's delight the tricycle got passed down to him. Malia loves her "new" princess bike. It's just a little bit big for her, but she does a good job riding it already. So now we just have to get Gunner to learn how to use the pedals on the tricycle. He is trying so hard.

1st Day of Pre-School
Malia started pre-school this week at Wonder World. She was so excited! (And so was mom) She had a lot of fun meeting new friends. The highlight for her was standing in a line and lining up because that is what she told everyone about. And of course the snack.
Gunner was a little sad back at the house, he didn't have anyone to torment. He was really excited when she got home.
