Allstate

Ian and his dad had a booth at the Hillsboro Bike and Safety Fair.

Ian made this cool prize wheel. They also had a drawing for dinner and a movie.

They had a few fun activities. The kids got to take their bikes through the bike wash.

And then there was lots of things to climb on and around.
The new life flight helicopter landed and Gunner loved that!

Malia Zoo Day and Celebration!

I got to go with Malia's Kindergarten class to the zoo. It was a chilly rainy day, but we have resigned ourselves to the fact that we live in Oregon, and that's what we are going to get. :) Luckily my friend went too, her little boy is in Malia's class. So we took our groups around together.

Malia was so excited for her very first bus ride.

Malia had her Kindergarten Graduation. It was a Hawaiian Celebration!

This is Malia's little friend Isaac.
And her cute Teacher.

And a little stud.

Tornado!

The face says it all. We are experiencing some turbulant weather right now. A few of the tornado's new tricks are moving a cushion off the couch so he can climb up, moving the ottoman so he can climb up on the rocking chair. He has lightning speed when he sees the door to the bathroom open, and his favorite place is the toilet of course, and when the master bedroom door is open he flies back to the bathroom and stands at the toilet waiting for us to come get him.
He loves to climb on his brother and sister and do everything they do.

He had a nasty run-in with some bugs or mosquitos one night, asleast that's what we think they were and he had some pretty good bumps on his face for a few days.
This is a typical mess if you leave him alone for longer than 20 seconds.
But with all the havoc he creates we sure do love this little guy. He has such a happy little personality if he is getting what he wants, and loves to make us laugh. He loves to give kisses and has to wave goodbye to dad every morning.
He is also a little jabber mouth lately, and heaven help us when we actually start to understand what he is saying!

After Camping

We came back a day early from camping because of the rain, so on Memorial Day, everyone came over for the dutch oven chicken and potatoes we had planned. Then we introduced the kids to friend tag, and let the kids play.

Then we finished it off with Banana boats. So yummy and fun! You split the banana down the middle, with the peel on, then you stuff it with chocolate chips and marshmellows, then cook them until they are melted, then you open it up and scoop it out!

Memorial Day Weekend

**Warning** Picture overload....
We went camping with my girls :) and their families to Ft. Stevens. We were really bummed because we knew it was supposed to rain most of the time, but we were determined to go because we knew this was our last big fun that we would have together because 2 of them are moving away :(
When we got there Friday night it was pouring. It is no fun to try to set up tents in the rain! One thing that kept us there was it was supposed to be nice on Saturday. We all had tarps to set up over our tents, but trying to get them up and our tents up was quite the fete. In all there were 8 adults and 13 kids. The nice thing about our families is that everyone has someone their age to play with.

The kids didn't care that it was raining and had so much fun riding bikes, and exploring in the bushes behind our camps, playing Lord and the Rings? is what they said.

We were glad when on Saturday it cleared and we were able to go out to the Fort which is really fun.

The kids loved running up and down and in between all the rooms of the Fort.

With it being Memorial weekend they had some cools things going on. They got a sticker for every part of the Fort they visited.

Then they had drawings for people to shoot off a cannon every hour. It was loud!
Backpack babies...

Saturday afternoon the sun even came out for a while, so we headed to the beach.

We took some more pictures of our whole group and just us girls, but apparently I didn't get them on my camera, so I will post them later.
