Malia's Baptism

We were so excited for Malia's baptism because Grandpa and Grandma and cousin Eryka got to come spend a few days too!

Malia was so nervous. She actually doesn't like to be center of attention too much, and usually isn't with two wild little brothers. This was hard for her, and before the baptism she was a little emotional. We had a hard time getting a picture.
But as soon as it was all done, you could tell she was just so happy and she radiated!

After the baptism we everyone over for cake.

Then it got a little crazy. Malia has so much fun with her cousin they had to get every minute in of doing everything together! Here they are having steaming facials.

We also got many singing shows from them, but I guess I only got video.

This is what I came home to after my meeting after church. I guess we wore them all out!

We love having them visit and hate when they had to leave!

Halloween

We started off our Halloween activities with our ward Trunk or treat. Of course it was raining, but we got to go quickly inside to the party.

They couldn't get enough of the games.

And great costumes!
Ian and I went to our friend's annual Halloween party and did easy costumes this year :)

Then for the real trick or treating we kept up the tradition of going to Grandpa and Grandma's house for dinner and some (tricks).

Our little Mooshoo dragon.

Our Motocross rider.And Cheerleader!
This year the weather was great! A little chilly, but no rain!
Cooper was so into it this year! He kept saying one more, one more! He wanted to keep going long after Malia and Gunner were done.
Then it was back to Grandma and Grandpa's house for hot chocolate and doughnuts. They scored this year too! So many full size candy bars!

Malia is 8!

We finally talked Malia into doing a friend party, the last one she had was when she was 4. She didn't really care, and would have been just as happy to have just a party with family, but I think she had fun.
We did a Unicorn theme, not really because she loves unicorns, but she didn't really care what we did, so I chose it to go with the pinata we were going to use that I got in Mexico when I was probably 8.
Here they got to color and decorate a unicorn picture.

They also played pin the horn on the unicorn, but I must not have gotten any pictures of that.

They got to decorate rainbow cupcakes.

And lastly, the pinata.

And Presents.

Malia is still our little helper and so very independent. Her distinct personality came out at a very early age, and we still see our little 2 yr old in so many ways. We can always garantee her staying up long after we put her in bed, and counting on her coming out atleast 2 times to tell us something. She is still such a good student and has always loved school. She is a great reader and we can still hardly keep her in books to read. She loves her brothers, but not when they are getting into her things all the time. She is doing very well at the piano, but has already started to dislike practicing. We love her laugh and her willingness to help and are greatful she is ours!
