Fun in Enterprise

We did a lot of fun things while we were in Enterprise, until Ian came back. Here are a few....
Always have to get in a few 4-wheeler rides. This one was up to Ox Valley, where Grandpa taught the boys how to get a drink from the spring water.


Too much adventure for Gunner.

Eating Grandma's Cinnamon rolls, although I should have gotten a picture of Malia eating them because I think she ate a pan by herself while we were there.

Camping in Pine Valley was always one of my favorite traditions we did growing up. We only went for one night with my brother and sister-in-law with their 2 kids, and my mom. I don't know how my mom and aunt did it for a week with all of us kids by themselves every year!! But it sure was fun!
Poor Gunner was sick, but we went anyway. He was still a little trooper, and loved the fresh air.



When I asked them what was their favorite part, Malia said going "hiking" which is quite the adventure with Aunt Shemri! Here they are getting their instructions for finding the rock of bravery and stick of courage (or something like that) :) Malia also saw what she called a (chipmunk), which actually turned out to be a deer....she needs to get out more :)



Gunner's favorite part was fishing. Thanks Rand for helping and letting him.


Our next adventure took us up on beautiful Cedar mountain for a picnic and to hike Mammoth Cave. It was not what we expected, it was a little muddy and slippery and a lot longer and deeper than we thought. Everyone there was laughing at my mom and me for trying to do it with 2 little kids and a baby, but we did it and had fun, when we got Gunner distracted from thinking there were bears in the cave.




Then there were countless hours spent playing with cousins, swimming in the pool, and digging in the sandbox.

4th of July

Like I said I spent pretty much the whole month of July in Utah. Ian drove down with us so we could go to my 10 year reunion. It was great to see friends I haven't seen for a while, but I wish there would have been more people there. There were actually 20 of our class of 65 there.

Malia and Brinlee, Shannon's daughter, were so cute and played together the whole time.

On the 4th of July we went to the program that my mom wrote, the string band played in, and my brother emceed. It was a great program as they honored those that have fought for our freedom.



Then to the races where you get a candy at the end,




and fireworks in the backyard. Love the small town activities!





Then we had to take Ian back to the airport, we missed him, but had a fun 2 weeks down there..........

AAHHHH!!!

This is what happens to a garden when it's been neglected for 3 1/2 weeks. But I really appreciate Ian's family watering it so it wasn't dead!

I think we have some corn on steroids or something because it is probably atleast 10 feet high! We also have learned that we planted everything WAY too close, and everything is growing big. We missed the peas while we were gone, but have lots of cucumbers, tomatoes, and peppers, and soon we will have lots more tomatoes and tons of pumpkins, and did I say lots more tomatoes?
We have had so much fun visiting in Utah for all of July, but now we are back to normal life now.....well getting there. I will post those pictures later.
