Bike Riding

We have had a couple of nice sunny days in between the snow and rain the past couple of weeks, and if it is sunny, the kids beg to go outside and ride bikes. Malia wanted her training wheels off, so Ian took them off, and the second day we went out, she was riding and starting all by herself. Gunner is crazy on his bike, he falls more than Malia, just because he goes so fast and thinks he can turn fast too. Here are a few videos of them. I don't like our neighborhood for the fact that we don't have sidewalks, but it is nice we have this church parking lot across the street.

Happy (Early) Birthday to me!

I have been wanting a piano ever since we got married. When we moved to Oregon, we actually stored a piano for a few years for a friend. Then when she was able to take it back, we have missed having a piano for over a year. We finally found one! I love craigslist. Ian actually found this one, it is used but in great condition! Just needs to be tuned. It was a great price for the piano that it is! The kids are so excited, and ask to play it every day. We love that it has a cover, because they haven't learned to open it yet. I have learned that I am pretty rusty, but hopefully that will change now!

Blue and Gold Banquet

Not much to blog about right now, so I thought I would put this up. We got to go to Ian's Scout Blue and Gold Banquet. He had volunteered me to make stew for it, and we got to go and eat. Here's a picture of my fat face. :)

Also, here's a picture to make you laugh. I absolutely HATE cutting up onions. If a recipe calls for onions, I put dried onions in, but because they had given me all the ingredients for the stew I had to do something because I was not in the mood to cry, thus the food processor and ski goggles. (Yes it did work, no burning eyes for me!) Ian just had to walk in right when I was in the middle of it. Enjoy! :)
