Then on Monday, his birthday, we went to Out of this World pizza place. He is a crazy man on the slides!

We braved the drizzle (because that's what you do in Oregon when it is the wettest spring in 50 years) and went down to the Hillsboro St. Patricks Day Parade.
The synchronized motorcycle cops are always a favorite. But I think the favorite this year was the wannabe synchronized motorcycle/mo-ped riders.

Last year 2 of my best friends moved away. One to Arizona and the other to Colorado. They always said they would come back to visit, so my other friend and I were so excited when they actually booked their tickets!
We planned a night on the Coast where we stayed at Lincoln City. It was so fun to catch up! We went out to eat, spent some time in the hot tub and painted our toe nails :) Then the next day we walked on the beach and then went shopping at the outlet stores. Had a really yummy lunch and then went home. They both stayed at my house the next night and we watched a movie and it was just like old times.
Here is a picture after church, not the best of me, I just got bangs cut and I am still figuring out how to do them.
I sure do miss them! Can't wait until our next girls weekend!

Malia got this "American Girl" doll for Christmas named Lily and has been begging me to make her some more clothes so she could match with her doll.
Here is my first attempt. We have more ideas if I could ever find the time. Here are the other two who love to pose for the camera.

It snowed about 4 inches, so of course they closed down school. I remember going to school even after it had snowed 3 ft!
Malia hates missing school, but was actually really excited for it to be cancelled so they could go out and play. We knew the night before that it was very likely to snow quite a bit (atleast for Oregon). So I barely got them to eat breakfast before they were ready to go out!
We were out so early that we got to have a snow ball fight with Dad before he went to work. The snow was actually really dry, but after the sun shining on it for a little while, we were able to pack it for a snowman.
