Lagoon

All of my siblings and their families got together for my Dad's 60th Birthday. We all were together for a only a couple of hours while we took family pictures before some had to leave.
Then we all went to Lagoon to Party! I am sure this is not what he would have chosen, but we all had fun!
The first ride we took the kids on was Dracula's castle. Gunner came out and said that is too scary I am not going on that one again! Quite a few of the other cousins said about the same thing. That was real good, scare them on their first ride :) It was just really fun to be with all the cousins.

And we even got Grandpa to go on a few.

This kid fought sleep all day long, and didn't want to miss anything! So this is what we saw a lot of the afternoon.
He finally knocked off about dinnertime.

At the end of the day, the crowds disappeared, and the lines were so short. Granted this was at about 10pm, but Gunner and Malia were just getting going. We rode quite a few rides during this last half hour. Gunner's favorite was the Bombora, and he could have ridden that over and over.

Hogle Zoo

We headed to Utah and were meeting all my family in Salt Lake City. Our first stop we met up with Shemri and kids at Hogle Zoo. Yes, this is the zoo where I got kissed by an emu. The kids couldn't wait to find the emus!

ER Visit

Gunner got the stomach flu really bad this summer. He progressively got worse througout the day and by 4pm he would take a lick of popsicle and it would come right back up. I decided to call the Dr. and made an appt for 6pm. The next two hours he went from bad to worse. He was so out of it and lethargic. The dr. tried to get a pedialyte popsicle in him and it kept coming right back up, but he was doing it half asleep. I think it was one of the sickest I have seen any of my kids. After about 20 minutes they sent us up to the ER for an IV.

He fell asleep in the waiting room, then woke up for a few minutes when we got to the room enough to answer the Dr's few questions.
Then went in and out until the nurse cam in to do his IV. I kept trying to distract him, but he watched the whole thing. That tells you how out of it he was. His eyes were so sunken.
Then we spent a couple of hours there while they pumped fluids back into him.

He was pretty weak for a few days but never threw up again.

You gotta love this little guy!

Cooper is definately a Daddy's little guy. If Dad is outside, that's were you will find Cooper, or atleast were Cooper will be begging to be.Dad decided to chop down some more trees, and Cooper didn't want to be left out! He wanted to help!
Trying to figure out how to get this down.
I saw Dad pulling it just like this...

If there is a mess to get into, Cooper will find it!
And these two happily cheer him on, knowing they aren't the ones going to get in trouble this time.
First you fill the hole with water....then you start jumping in it....

And jump some more...

And jump from a different angle...
until there is a nice muddy mess!
Then get sprayed by dad, which is the most fun.
And end up looking like this!
