St. Patricks Day Fun

The kids made leprechaun traps for school.

Waiting for the St. Patrick's Day Parade.

For some reason, we can't handle the sun after so many months of gloom.

Malia finally decided she wanted to get her ears pierced!

Cooper is 3! (and an update)

Cooper keeps us laughing with his funny facial expressions for everything.  He is always trying to find a way to make us laugh lately.  It is amazing what he comes up with!

He loves to make "naked" hiding spots.  I think this started from potting training when we would let him run around naked to get him to go.  Everyday I would find him hiding in all the blankets he could find.  Around February, after giving up multiple times, he was finally ready to be a big boy!  It finally clicked and he has been really good at keeping himself dry!

The evolution of Cooper's hair.  We hated having to hold Cooper down, screaming, when we would try to cut his hair, so we decided to let it grow!  His hair is so thick and it started to curl, so we just let it grow and grow!

Poor kid, this is what it looked like most days.  A big old mop!

But if I sprayed it down, it would look cute and curly for a few hours.

Here are a couple of funny things Cooper has said.
February 2012
Cooper's answer to everthing is "I'm sick" Go say you're sorry.... I'm sick!
Went looking for him because he wasn't in bed. Found him in the closet. I asked what he was doing he said: Hiding from monsters.....see(pointing to window)!

When you tell him no he says "No Fair!"

April 2012
Cooper to Dad laying in bed: I want breakfast!
Dad: Do you want mom or dad to fix breakfast?
Cooper: Daddy!
Dad: Do you want dad or mom to fix breakfast?
C: Daddy!
D: Do you love daddy or mommy?
C: Daddy!
D: Do you want mom to fix you breakfast now or dad to fix you breakfast in a half hour?
C: Dad....you stay here, I get my own.
Still very much a daddys boy.  Will choose Daddy over Mommy anytime anyday!
Eats like a bird. We never know when or what he will eat, unless it is chocolate. I wonder where he gets that from?
He loves oatmeal, but that is about all we can guarantee he will eat throughout the day.
He loves "mater" and "mcqueen" and all things cars. He also still loves playing with the geotrax "trains". That is what he would choose to play with everyday.

Mom:what do you want for dinner?
C: Soup
M:What kind of soup?
C: Daddy's soup
M: What's in Daddy's soup?
C: Just water

At his checkup he weighed in at 30 lbs and 36 inches tall.

Malia finally got brave and got her ears pierced!
Coop is well just Coop!  We never know with this kid!

At an indoor playplace that is fun to go to when it is just wet and soggy all the time outside.
