So you may all realize this is not something you want to see in your attic. Just another fun thing about owning a house, not that I don't love our home and am so greatful that we have a nice place to live, but it was always nice to be able to call a manager to deal with things such as this. Luckily I have a handy husband who spotted the problem before it got too bad and was able to fix it in no time. He spotted just a little water damage coming through the ceiling in our bathroom, so we headed up to the attic to see where it was coming from. We kind of have a cool attic, or atleast I think so, and it was cool to be able to go up in it by pulling down the stairs from the ceiling, like in the movies. I always wanted to see what was in our attic growing up, but it was too hard to get to. So we found this broken pipe after digging through the insulation and we had no idea what it was for. There was only a little bit of water that came from it. So Ian went and bought some new pipe and fixed it right up. I tried to get Malia to look up in the attic, I guess because I always wanted to see growing up. She just kept asking "but who lives up there?" It took a few days for her to be brave enough, and after taking Gunner up there, she finally dared. All she said was "Oh" I guess the fascination of an attic is cooler if it is unknown.
