Carving and Costumes

For FHE on Monday we carved our pumpkins. We tried to get the kids to scrape out the seeds, they got their aprons on and were all ready until we took the top off and then they said "NO WAY!" We finally got Malia to use a spoon.

Last Friday Ian and I went to a Friend's Halloween Party. They go all out, and have lots of fun things to do there. This year in addition to the life size Operation game that is always a hit, he made a Halloween video game to go along with the Haunted (pie walk), Glow in the dark pictionary, Find the bats, and guess the funsized candy in the xray. Not to mention all the goodies to eat. I had a little more time to plan this year, and with all the sewing I was doing anyway, I made these costumes, which I think turned out pretty good. It is all fun.
