Pig Tails

My friends and I decided that after playing basketball at the church for the past 9 months we would try playing in an actual league. We kind of thought we could be competitive and so signed up. 5 of us are in the same ward, and we recruited one more.
It has been a fun blast from the past! I look forward every week to the night that we play, even though I get so nervous! My body and knees aren't quite what they were in high school either, and I have new massive bruises after every game, but we have actually done really well so far and are tied for first place with a record of 3-1.
I don't know if there will ever be another opportunity to be on a team like this, so we are having fun! And it is a fun way to stay in shape.

Ian and the kids came to our game this last week. Gunner was so excited to come, and kept saying, "my mom is so good!" Malia couldn't care less, but he loved it, and I thought it was really cute. He kept wanting to give me thumbs up.
