Friar Trot

While the boys (minus Cooper) were gone on the Father and Son campout, Malia, Cooper and I decided to do something fun too. We went and ran a race with some friends. We opted to just do the mile race, which was just perfect for the girls.


Malia's face says it all. I think she is going to be more of a sprinter than a long distance runner, or she just needs to learn to pace :) She just wanted to sprint as fast as she could, which she did for a little while, but then she would get so tired and want to walk, then after a mintute she would start sprinting again. Cooper loved every minute of it in the stroller.

After the race they had a big party with lots to eat, (just what you want to eat in the morning, and right after you run....chocolate cake and cookies...yum) and a band playing. And the girls got their faces painted.
