Hillsboro Oregon Stake Fair

We started off the day with a family 5k race in the morning. Reminded me why I don't run.... Ian did really good though....pushing the kids. I decided I would be the one to "stay" with Malia. She rocked it!
You can't have a fair without lots of free snowcones...

Cottoncandy....
Face Painting.....
And fun water games!

You know how almost every kid event you hear over the loud speaker will the parents of such kid come forth, we have a lost kid.... well that was us this time. As we were leaving I turned around to get my pie dish, and for some reason Gunner turned around with me in the parking lot. I didn't realize, and Ian thought he went with me. Someone found him screaming in the parking lot probably 5 cars away from ours, and I probably passed them going back to the car. When I got to the car and Ian realized he wasn't with me, we both said...oh no! and ran back to the front. We knew this would mean crying. It's kind of funny because they annouced it was Cooper McOmie that was lost, and grandpa and grandma and a bunch other people went over to claim him. It was a scary situation for Gunner, but a pretty funny one for us :)
