White River East Sledding

We met up with some friends and braved the blizzard up on Mt. Hood just to get in a little sledding. Once we finally made it up the hill dragging the sleds and kids we all had fun.

Conveniently we stopped by a little cave someone had built in the snow which protected the kids just a little bit.

The snow at the bottom of the hill was up to my waist, and only the kids could walk on top, luckily, because a gust of wind blew one of the sleds far away and the kids tramped off to get it while the adults just sunk.

By the end Cooper had had enough, he was the only one who wouldn't keep the goggles on, which were very needed! So we went back to the truck to warm up, the rest following soon after.
