Cape Lookout

With our determination to go camping more than last year, when some friends asked us to go with them to Cape Lookout, we jumped at the chance. I had never been there, and it was camping pretty much right on the beach. We had I think the best campsites. This is definately a place we will go again! The first morning we went out during low tide. It was really low. We started out just touching the water..... Then we lost our shoes..... Then soon lost the sweatshirts. Then off came the pants....


We then took off on a hike out to the cape. Gorgeous views! We didn't quite make the end. With Oregon being so wet, the trail was REALLY muddy. I didn't get any pictures, but we had mud up to our knees (well Gunner did). And I was concentrating more on not falling in than getting a picture. Then we headed to the beach. It was one of the best days I have ever been to the beach up here. Pretty warm, and hardly any wind!
