Malia's First Lost Tooth

Malia has been wanting to have a loose tooth for over a year now, especially because so many of her friends have lost many teeth. Her poor little tiny teeth seem to be stuck in there! So much that the new one finally pushed in, but behind the baby teeth! We kept telling her to wiggle it and jiggle it, but it was not getting loose! After many weeks of waiting for her tooth to get loose, and the new one more than halfway up, we decided we needed a little dental intervention. So off to the dentist we went. Malia was so brave and went in without me, got her teeth cleaned and had it pulled all before I went back with Gunner, who was not so brave on his first trip to the dentist. He did finally let the hygienist count his teeth. Maybe next time! On the way home. The dentist put her littly tiny tooth in a little pink treasure box, and Malia was so excited for the tooth fairy to come, she even wrote her a note! The tooth fairy responded with a note back and $2 for being so brave with her first experience with losing a tooth!
