Black Friday

So I think that I am crazy! I worked a 10 hour shift on Thanksgiving day, which is crazy anyway, but then getting off at 2am, getting home at 2:15 am, then waking up at 4:15am to drive the 45 minutes to Wal-mart to get there at 5am when they open, just to stand in line to get into the store, to push and shove to get our "good deals". Need I say more?
We also went to JC Penny, which is at the mall, and crazy too. We did get all of our Christmas shopping done though! And I do have to say we got some pretty good deals.
Just a huge thanks to Grandpa and Grandma for letting us put the kids to bed at their house. And then a great husband who kept the kids quiet so I could get 5 more hours of sleep!
So all in all it worked out. Getting holiday pay on a 10 hour shift to pay for our Christmas shopping. Black Friday is crazy, but I do have to say it is fun, and I am grateful I have a husband who is willing to go with me! Just next time, hopefully I get more than 2hrs of sleep the night before!

You go girl! I'm glad that you got everything you needed done and were able to rest (finally). Especially being pregnant, how did you function on such little sleep? :)

Wow Lara you rock girl! I did a good 10 hour shopping spree with my sister and brother-in-law but I definately couldn't have handled it pregnant after working a long shift like that! You are super woman....Way to go. Love you tons!

Glad to hear someone else likes Black Friday. I heard the Walmart by me was a literal riot. I would rather call it a mosh pit though. Has a better ring to it.

Lara!! That is impressive...or crazy! I'm glad you got some good deals and it's got to feel great to have all of your shopping done. Congrats on that.

PS. I didn't get a reward for finding the gun...I guess according to the police department my reward was the fact that no one got killed by their gun....good times here in Sandy Utah!

You guys are crazy. That's all I have to say! I would never be that daring to brave the crazy crouds! Gunner is one tough cookie-you will have some great pics to scrapbook with of all his bonks and bruises-reminds me of all my crazy brothers!
