Christmas Party

My work had an Employee Children's Christmas party on Sat. Ian was supposed to have gone hunting all weekend long but because of the weather they decided not to go. So we were glad to have Dad there with us.
There was all kind of games and crafts to do.

Gunner making his reindeer was hilarious! His little personality really came out!
He had to make sure everything was on perfect! Just like his Dad! If it wasn't on straight he would take it off and do it again. It's funny to see a 2 1/2 year old care like that.

Then Malia got her face painted, Gunner didn't want to. They also had to get a stamp after they had spun the prize wheel, and he wasn't too sure about that either.
They had Radio Disney broadcasting live there. They had these girls who were in charge of doing games and prizes and then they would dance to the songs. It was Disney and so everything of course was Hannah Montana or High School Musical. Malia has this new obsession with Hannah Montana even though she has never really watched the show, and she was in heaven, she was really getting into dancing with them, and was having a lot of fun. She had a hard time though, because she would just stand in the back and try to get them to pick her, and they never would. She came up to me and said I just need some help, I really want to win a Hannah Montana. Then they drew a prize that was a really big Hannah Montana light up stage and she was so disappointed that she didn't win. She did get a Hannah Montana Pen.
Gunner on the other hand, when he couldn't see, would just walk right up to the front. He also tried to get in on a game they were doing passing around the ball. It's funny their two different personalities.
You can see Malia and Gunner in the bottom left of the picture with the girls dancing.

We also got popcorn, cookies, and juice.

And of course Santa Clause. Gunner actually sat on his lap and said really proudly that he wanted Diego. Malia wanted...Hannah Montana.

What a great work party. Doug's work parties are generally of the open-bar type...you know....not exactly kid-friendly.
