Here are some of the fun things we did while we were in Enterprise. Of course the kids had fun playing with their cousins, and I enjoyed it because I didn't have to entertain them. Malia swam I think everyday we were there.
Gunner found my niece and nephew's Hummer, and we couldn't get him off it, he still has yet to learn how to steer. We knew that if we found it next to a tree that Gunner was the last one to ride in it. He did pretty good if you got him going in a big circle.
We did the 24th of July festivities, starting out with the fun run. Ian, my brothers Rand, and Mical, and Shemri's sister Ali all did the 10k, and they actually all finished! Ian even got 2nd place in his age group! My brother Colten and his wife Megan ran the 5k and my sisters in law Shemri, Diana, and I did the 5k walk.

Then we hurried and got ready to go to the parade.
Then in the afternoon we did the races. They race the kids in their age groups starting at 0. Gunner wouldn't run, but Malia did a great job! And they got a laffy taffy at the finish line.
We then went to my Grandpa's 90th birthday party and had yummy ribs and dutch oven potatoes my favorite!
Here are few other things we did and that happenend.
Getting real live Grandma stories (all the grandkids have cds of Grandma and Grandpa tellings stories that they listen to at night) out on the back lawn under the stars.
Getting to go down to the farm and help Grandpa and Colten bale hay. Gunner was so excited to go, but his issue with loud noises made him a little wary.
We also got to enjoy the first of the pickings from the garden. The kids had fun picking the peas and helping to snap beans.
Then we all enjoyed a little friendly competition of what we call ultimate croquet.
We also had one little tragedy. The night before the 24th, my nephew was doing some ultimate roller skating in the kitchen and fell and broke his arm. He broke both bones in his arm and when he lifted his arm up the first time, his hand and wrist were at almost a 90 degree angle from the rest of his arm. It was bringing back so many memories for me, my stomach was just sick for him. He was so brave and only said Ouch, Ouch! a few times when they were moving it to splint it. He was well taken care of in my family with 2 emts and a nurse there. Then to add to that, my sister and her husband hit a deer on the way to the ER. It was a nice one though!
That concludes the first week that we were down there, Ian flew back to Oregon and the kids and I stayed for another whole week. I will post those pictures later.

Wow! Looks like you guys had a ton of fun. I can't believe your nephew broke his arm! Poor kid. I bet you could easily sympathize with him. One of these days when you're in Utah we need to get together. Mike and I miss the McOmie's!
You guys always do the funnest stuff when you go to Enterprise! Congratulate Ian on getting 2nd place in the fun run! That is awesome. I was down there for my sister's baby shower and I came to Enterprise but didn't think you guys were there! I should have known better....although with everything that goes on during that weekend there wouldn't have been a whole lot of visiting time....we do miss you guys and love you!!
